21 May 2024: For the second year in a row, RAIDER Targetry has been announced as a finalist in two categories at the 2024 Defence Connect Australian Defence Industry Awards.
When the shortlist of finalists was announced, the team at RAIDER Targetry were delighted to learn they had been named as a finalist in both the Defence Innovator of the Year – Company and SME of the Year Categories.
Recognising outstanding businesses and professionals from all over Australia the Australian Defence Industry Awards shine a spotlight on the people and organisations leading the way in this nationally important sector.
With 10 categories available, the Australian Defence Industry Awards acknowledges all defence industry stakeholders, including SMEs and high-performing individuals such as defence executives, Indigenous and female leaders, students, scientists, technicians, and academics.
CEO, Chief Technical Officer and co-founder of RAIDER Targetry, Mick Fielding said, “this is an outstanding recognition of the talented team we are fortunate to have working with us. To be named a finalist in these categories is a testament to the efforts and achievements they make in striving for excellence in the work that we do.
“Working in the defence sector is incredibly satisfying and knowing that we are designing and developing products that will improve the capabilities of Australia’s defence forces is extremely satisfying,” Mick said.
The awards are open to all businesses operating in Australia supporting the defence supply chain and have become a highly coveted accolade for individuals and businesses seeking to build a reputation for excellence.
Winners will be announced on 18 July at a Gala ceremony in Canberra.
