Monday 9 September 2024: Oceanview Helicopters and Yandina Station have announced a new partnership that promises to elevate the Sunshine Coast wedding experience to new heights. Combining luxury aerial views with the rustic charm of a stylish country estate, the new collaboration offers couples an unparalleled way to celebrate their special day.
The partnership is part of Oceanview Helicopters’ growth plans and efforts to collaborate with the broader SE Queensland tourism industry.
In June, Oceanview was part of the sod turning to mark the beginning of construction at the Sunshine Coast Aerospace Precinct expansion. They are also working closely with Visit Sunshine Coast, Visit Moreton Bay and Tourism and Events Queensland to promote the South East to media and travel trade.
“We are excited to join forces with Yandina Station to elevate the wedding experience on the Sunshine Coast for both local, inter-state and international wedding parties,” said Karl Mayne, Co-Founder and Chief Pilot at Oceanview Helicopters.
“Our combined experience makes us best placed to deliver unforgettable wedding experiences for brides, bridal parties and guests. Our partnership will include tailor made experiences that will combine private scenic helicopter rides with event space and expertise on a quintessential Queensland farm in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland,” added Mayne.
Yandina Station is set on 217 acres west of Coolum and Noosa beaches. It’s home to three cottages for on-site accommodation, an events venue for up to 180 guests seated.
“We’re delighted to work with Oceanview Helicopters who understand what our guests need when it comes to weddings,” said Justin Lippiatt, General Manager at Yandina Station.
“We’ve seen a growing trend of events and weddings looking for stand out experiences in the lead up and during the event – such as heli-golf tours from Yandina Station, food experiences by air and of course, the ultimate bridal arrival in style,” added Lippiatt.
