16 June 2025: A high-flying stunt at Sandstone Point Hotel in the Moreton Bay region has officially launched the 2025 Boost Mobile Australian Supercross Championship.
Returning after a record-breaking debut in 2024, the championship will kick off with a double-header at Redcliffe’s Kayo Stadium this October. The announcement was marked by a jaw-dropping performance from FMX legend Corey Creed, who soared over a Boost drift car in a world-first quarter pipe stunt – setting the tone for a high-octane season ahead.
But for Moreton Bay, this event is about more than just speed and stunts.
“Whether you’re a lifelong fan or just looking for an epic night out with the family, Supercross in Moreton Bay is the kind of event you won’t forget,” said Luke Edwards, CEO of Visit Moreton Bay.
“It’s loud, it’s fast, it’s electric – and the best part is, it’s all happening right here in our backyard.”
The 2025 Supercross season will span five major cities, but it’s Redcliffe that once again claims the honour of hosting Rounds 1 and 2.
“We’re proud to welcome Supercross back to Moreton Bay and to build on what we know will be a huge moment in Australia’s sporting calendar,” Edwards said.
Fans can expect refreshed racing formats, a recharged international rider line-up, and immersive fan experiences over two adrenaline-packed nights on October 11 and 12.
Alongside elite motorsport, the weekend will showcase local hospitality, live entertainment and community activations – offering a complete destination experience for both visitors and locals.
“This is the year we double down on action, content and fan experience,” said AUSX Managing Director Kelly Bailey.
“More moments, more cities, more edge-of-your-seat racing – and it all starts now with ticket sales officially live.”
