Eden Retreat Opens New Treehouse High Above The Currumbin Valley

6 October 2026: Eden Retreat has officially opened its new Eden Treehouse, a secluded wellness sanctuary perched among the treetops of Currumbin Valley and offering uninterrupted views across the surrounding rainforest and World Heritage-listed national park.

Designed as a luxury treehouse for grown ups, the elevated space introduces couples spa treatments to Eden Retreat for the first time, allowing guests to enjoy side-by-side massages while surrounded by birdsong, rainforest and views across the Gold Coast hinterland.

The new Eden Treehouse has been designed to immerse guests in nature while creating a private setting for some of Eden’s most restorative wellness experiences.

Beyond couples treatments, the versatile space will host private sound meditation sessions, guided mindfulness experiences and intimate stargazing beneath the hinterland’s night skies.

Eden Retreat General Manager Ash Martin said the opening marked an important new chapter for the retreat.

“From the moment you step inside the Treehouse, there’s an immediate sense of being removed from everyday life,” Martin said.

“You’re surrounded by the rainforest canopy, the sounds of nature and incredible views across the valley. It is a very different spa experience and one that feels completely connected to its setting.

“For years, guests have asked us whether they could enjoy treatments together, so being able to introduce couples treatments in such a special space is incredibly exciting.”

Mr Martin said the Treehouse also reflects Eden Retreat’s broader approach to creating wellness experiences that allow guests to choose how they want to reset.

“It might be a massage with someone you love, a private sound meditation, mindfulness experience or simply an opportunity to spend time immersed in nature. The Treehouse gives us another calm space where guests can slow down and experience Eden in their own way.”

The new Treehouse forms part of Eden Retreat’s continued investment in its wellness offering, complementing its full-service spa, Vitality Centre and extensive range of treatments, movement and nature-based experiences.

Set across 380 acres of rainforest in Currumbin Valley, Eden Retreat offers a self-directed approach to wellness, allowing guests to shape their stay around rest, movement, treatments, nutrition and time in nature rather than following a fixed program.

The Eden Treehouse is now open to guests.
