24 June 2026: A new luxury travel experience is redefining day trips in Queensland, with Machjet International and sister brand Alani Experience launching “Nine Til Five” – an exclusive same-day escape connecting East Coast destinations with Whitehaven Beach by private jet and luxury yacht.
Designed for travellers seeking a seamless premium experience, Nine Til Five combines private air travel, luxury cruising and curated dining in one unforgettable day.
Guests depart their destination, or Machjet’s private terminal at Sunshine Coast Airport, aboard a luxury charter flight to Hamilton Island before stepping directly onto M/Y ALANI, an 82-foot Sunseeker yacht based in the Whitsundays.
From there, guests cruise through the turquoise waters of the Whitsunday Islands to Whitehaven Beach for an exclusive dining experience showcasing fresh local seafood and seasonal Queensland produce, before returning via a scenic afternoon yacht cruise and private flight home to the Sunshine Coast that evening.
The experience has been created for travellers wanting to experience the Whitsundays without the crowds, airport queues or overnight logistics traditionally associated with luxury island escapes.
Machjet International Managing Director Simon McDermott said Nine Til Five was designed to offer travellers a completely different way to experience one of Australia’s most iconic destinations.

Curated by Alani Experience, the onboard menu can be tailored for each booking and features premium local seafood including prawns, oysters and Moreton Bay bugs alongside seasonal produce, grazing platters and chef-prepared dining experiences served against the backdrop of Whitehaven Beach.
Guests can also customise the experience with premium beverage packages, private celebrations, special occasion styling and bespoke itineraries.
