Noosa Chocolate Factory expands into Chermside

18 June 2025: Noosa Chocolate Factory is growing again, with a brand new store and cafe set to open at Westfield Chermside, Australia’s second largest shopping centre, on 1 September.

It’s the fourth store for the independent Queensland chocolatier – bringing not only fresh, handmade chocolate and specialty drinks to Brisbane’s northside – but also 13 new jobs.

The expansion follows the successful reopening of the brand’s Adelaide Street flagship earlier this year. That store underwent a full renovation, re-emerging in February 2025 with a larger retail footprint and a new dine-in café, providing an enhanced experience for city workers and chocolate lovers in the heart of Brisbane.

The new Chermside store and cafe will carry the same beloved range: fresh chocolate-coated fruit and nuts, slabs, rocky road, hot chocolates, iced mochas, espresso and more.

Everything is made daily using real ingredients, with no preservatives or artificial additives – just as it has been since the beginning.

The company’s continued growth flies in the face of rising global cocoa prices and broader cost-of-living pressures. Its commitment to quality, transparency and supporting local has clearly resonated with customers.

“We are extremely excited to see the business continue to grow and go from strength to strength. Opening a new store and cafe at Chermside will mean we can get our much loved products into the hands of more customers and by doing so, allow us to create more employment opportunities for the region,” said Nick Southon, General Manager.

The Westfield Chermside opening will create around 13 new permanent and casual jobs, adding to the 70 staff already employed across Noosa Chocolate Factory’s existing stores and factory.

It’s this unshakeable commitment to quality and local production that’s made Noosa Chocolate Factory one of South East Queensland’s sweetest success stories. Alongside the upcoming Chermside opening, the brand also operates at Sunshine Plaza in Maroochydore, two locations in the Brisbane CBD, and the original factory store and café in Noosaville, where the chocolate-making magic happens.

To bring the Chermside store to life, Noosa Chocolate Factory is now hiring baristas and café all-rounders. Casual and part-time roles are available, with a chance to join a passionate team in a fast-paced, chocolate-fuelled environment.

Ends.
